We’re thrilled to introduce Sprint/Shop, a UME project developed with our friend and Collaborative Fund investor, Chris Dowd. Designed specifically for early stage climate tech startups, this program helps founders build a precise, accessible and authentic story to propel their growth.
We created Sprint/Shop because we saw a need: too often, mission-critical climate tech projects bury their brilliance. They load slides and pages with dense jargon, complex diagrams, and impressive credentials thinking that the more they say, the more others will understand.
Too often, mission-critical climate tech projects bury their brilliance.
But, equations don’t speak for themselves. Writing a positioning statement is not the same as writing a white paper. And yes, even CTOs and deep tech investors are people. And guess what? People respond to stories.
Tell your audience who you are and why they should trust you. Explain the urgency of the problem you’re solving. Translate your technology into simple and accessible terms. Show how your solution uniquely helps your customers. Help them connect the dots. Make them care. And do it all in about a minute.
We’ve found that going through the strategic storybuilding process delivers more than words. It can help clarify your strategy, secure funding, land pilot projects, hire the best people, attract the right partners, raise your profile, and grow with integrity.
So if you know a team building frontier climate or nature-based innovations, send them over to Sprint/Shop. As the name suggests, this is a four-week sprint that respects people’s time. Spaces are limited. Accepting applications September 16 through October 4, 2024.
