We designed UME to give creatives the structure and freedom they need to do their best work and thrive.
Designed to be more respectful, inspiring and innovative, our collective model attracts thought- provoking experts and top talent from around the world. We are a diverse, radically candid, highly independent and extremely collaborative team. We totally own our work streams, and never hesitate to call for help and have each other's back. We are not interested in selling more stuff or touting the next band-aid solution. Instead, we focus on partnering with clients who are building the new economy — using their organization to make our systems more equitable, sustainable and regenerative.

Oversee staffing and client workflows. Including staffing projects with the right talent; overseeing and supporting project managers to keep projects on time and on budget; troubleshooting capacity or client challenges; and generally keeping everyone productive, creative and happy.
Manage studio operations. Primarily, approving collective team member invoices and coordinating with our bookkeeper to ensure timely remittance of payments; liaising with clients to ensure timely receipt of payments; collaborating with core leadership on strategic roadmapping and setting quarterly OKRs; supporting and holding the team accountable to meeting our goals.
Create an amazing member experience. Including vetting potential new members; running all member onboarding, retros and feedback sessions; designing and hosting regular community gatherings; designing and running our professional development program; nurturing relationships with all collective members and keeping a pulse on their seasonal capacity, interests and goals.
